Yan Shou Gong – The Art of Longevity (Sets 7-12)

The Second Online Course of Master Yap Boh Heong

Ready to begin learning?

Learn the authentic Nei Gong practices of Southern Shaolin Kungfu.

Description

Join Master Yap Boh Heong’s second online course and experience the power of Yan Shou Gong (sets 7-12). This authentic Nei Gong practice was traditionally taught to only the most senior monks in the Southern Shaolin Temple, and now you have the opportunity to learn it too.

Unlike many other Nei/Qi Gong practices that take years to produce results, Yan Shou Gong is easy to learn, quick to practice and produces real internal skills. This course teaches you how to develop kinetic energy and the mind, two essential elements for improving martial abilities and relieving stress, anxiety, and depression.

In addition to learning techniques such as Grounding, Rooting, and Centering, which creates awareness and mindfulness of being in the body, you’ll also have access to 64 in-depth video lessons. These include instructions on YSG sets 7-12, plus testing and applications of YSG sets 1-6.

This comprehensive instruction is perfect for martial artists who want to study an authentic Nei Gong system/internal art and those who want to improve their health and well-being.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn Yan Shou Gong from a true master and experience its incredible benefits for yourself. Join Master Yap Boh Heong’s second online course today.

Inner-door Students Group

As a student of this course, you’ll have exclusive access to Master Yap’s private group, where you can ask questions, discuss video lessons, and share your training experiences with other pupils. Master Yap will personally guide you through the course and provide new video lessons for the group. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn Yan Shou Gong from a true master!

About Yap Boh Heong

Yap Boh Heong is a 3rd generation Kungfu master with nearly 50 years of experience in Southern Shaolin Kungfu, Traditional Chinese Martial Arts (TCMA), and Nei Gong. He is the son of the late Grandmaster Yap Cheng Hai, an internationally renowned master of Kungfu and feng shui.

Master Yap has acquired extensive knowledge and understanding of Shaolin Kungfu and especially the internal martial arts of Five Ancestors, WuMei, and Yan Shou Gong. He has spent the past ten years researching and developing a new teaching pedagogy (TCMA) that makes sophisticated concepts easy to understand and accelerates learning. While it would traditionally take ten years for a new student to achieve proficiency in TCMA, it can now be achieved in three years using these new methods. Since he began teaching with these new methods, he has produced several highly skilled and capable students, proficient in using their internal energies, such as Jin and Yi.

Although his initial focus was on the martial aspects of TCMA, he has also focused on the health and well-being aspect after seeing how it can help others improve their lives. He now actively teaches Yan Shou Gong (YSG), an authentic Nei Gong taught previously to only the most senior monks in Southern Shaolin Temple.

Since the passing of GM Yap Cheng Hai and GM Chee Kim Thong, Master Yap Boh Heong has taken over the mantle and is actively teaching and spreading the benefits of Yan Shou Gong to the world. He recently began teaching internationally in Europe, conducting courses and workshops in the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, Sweden, Denmark, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia.

Master Yap and his team are amazing!

I completed YSG forms 1-6 and started 7-12 recently. I thoroughly enjoyed this course which is well conceived and taught online. The explanations and demos and detailed answers posted by Master Yap (who is so unassuming ) and his team facilitated my learning. Thank you Master Yap, Jason, Jimmy and Kieran!

True Inner Stability

After finishing the first course 1-6 I really noticed how my body AND my inner changed. After only 6 months I feel complitely renewed. This course means a lot because here in Ukraine living in constant stress YSG is a pearl to practice. It straightens the body in a way that you refresh quickly and the art really (I mean it) balances the mind and you can keep going through life clearly!

Amazing practice

I want to thank Master YAP for the presentation and the explanations making it easy to understand the YSG. The second booklet allows you to finish understanding the first series of lessons and the following lessons from 7 to 12 illuminate all the benefits that this practice brings. For my part, I can certify that the YSG was immediately usable in my martial practice.

The devil is in the details! Master Yap provides all the essential information that can be spoken.

Very clear explanations and lots of important details that can be easily overlooked. The YSG courses have knocked it out of the park in my opinion. Great work!

Excellent explanations!

I absolutely love this course. I absolutely enjoyed the testing part that refers to the sets 1-6. These exercises deepenend my understanding of the strings and what should be going on internally. And I absolutely enjoy practising set 7-12. Master Boh Heong and Jimmy show the movements in detail and describe precisely how they should be performed. I hope that all other sets will be shown here, too.

More simple excercises that bring continuing and noticeable progress

I completed the first six sets of the YSG repertoire and found that I felt stronger, and my Taiji has become better as a result. This course of YSG sets 7 - 12 are producing similar effects; regular practice produce continuous incremental improvements in stability, rootedness and centredness.

Increasing and continuing levels of depth into the way you move yourself (and the other)

Hi Kieren, You ask me how I'm enjoying the 7-12 set course sofar. I have not yet started with the new stuff but a quick review of the testing and application modes of the 1-6 set tells me that points straight to where I want to go and explore, that is to real internal work. It seems to increasingly open up continuing levels of depth into the way you move yourself (and thereby the other).

Great follow up to the first course!

I can only recommend Master Yap's second Yan Shou Gong course as highly as the first. The clear and precise instructions make it easy to follow the movements and even those who are already familiar with Yan Shou Gong will find new details and suggestions. The pressure tests for the sets of the first course are helpful for everyone to assess their own progress.
