About this course

Learn the authentic Nei Gong practices of Southern Shaolin Kung Fu.

Yan Shou Gong 延壽功 is an authentic Nei Gong practice traditionally taught to only the most senior monks in the Southern Shaolin Temple. Each of the Yan Shou Gong sets condenses the best practices of the Nei Gong arts, making them easy to learn, quick to practice, and able to produce real internal skill. Many Nei Gong and Qi Gong methods take years before a student feels any benefit — Yan Shou Gong is designed differently, and most students begin to notice the effects of the practice relatively quickly.

Yan Shou Gong emphasizes the development of kinetic energy and the mind — known in Chinese martial arts as Jin 勁 and Yi 意 — and teaches grounding, rooting, and centering, cultivating awareness and mindfulness of being in the body. This can sharpen a practitioner’s martial abilities while also supporting relaxation, calm, and a steadier state of mind.

The comprehensive instruction across sets 1–6 is ideal for martial artists who want to study an authentic internal art, and equally suited to anyone who has been living a busy, overstretched lifestyle and now wants to invest in their well-being.

Every lesson is fully subtitled in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
