I believe he studied a mixture of Wing Chun and the external strength of silat. His art is very external… and he has got more gung (internal physical power) than his students, that’s why he is able to overcome them so easily. Where he is from may give you an idea of what he is trying to achieve. yes it’s real, to him anyway. As a Practitioner myself we all share a bond in martial arts – Achieving physical and mental excellence.
